1. I have a growing sense that only rarely do you need to care about "what's new in Children's books".
2. Zero tolerance for medioctrity in books
3. "It doesn't matter what they're reading as long as they're reading." Uh, no. NO. FALSE.

Languages

1. Bring back Latin. Back when the USA was the most literate, best-educated society on the face of the earth, kids took latin. Enough said.
2. Latin is not dead, but rather the language of logic and the genetic code for our own language.
